In addition to music playback, the JVC UX-LP5 also includes a composite video output, enabling you to connect the system to your TV or compatible computer monitor and view video stored on the iPod.

In addition to standard CD playback, the UX-LP5 can also play CD-R/RW media with MP3 and WMA files. And it includes a digital AM/FM radio (with 15 AM presets and 30 FM presets). The UX-LP5 provides separate bass and treble controls, as well as a selectable JVC Hyperbass mode, which adds emphasis to lower frequencies. Other features include a clock, programmable timer, two-way bass reflex speakers, and a remote control.
